A new you

When anyone is joined to Christ, he is a new being;
the old one id gone, the new one has come.
All this is done by God, who through Christ
changed us from enemies into his friends...

Bright as the Sunrise

The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise,
getting brighter and brighter
until daylight has come.

The road of the wicked, however, is dark as night.

A Prayer about stopping to Think

Oh Jesus,
There is so much violence in the world;
is it because we don't stop to think
that we just battle on;
so sure it is right
when it is wrong;
so sure it is wrong
when it is right.
Oh Jesus, I pray
teach me to stop flaunting
and to think.
To stretch out in kindness
and gentleness
and strength
and to understand
what is the true
and holy meaning
of right and wrong
and to smile a bit more.
